Craig, that wasn't intended as a slam but I like the penalty. Two old bats sounds pretty good as I know I am batty.
Debie, I am probably going to have to go catch a plane on Sun. morning. Can I use your computer to check flights ( I travel standby since my dau. works for the airline) and print my boarding pass?
I just saw this thread and am not a TAC member, yet. My dad has a few old FJ-40's and I have a new FJC. I'd like to do some off-roading and I'm pretty close to "the farm". Sounds like everyone there is real friendly but I would hate to crash such an event totally un-invited. I mentioned this event to my dad and since it's so close he was real excited in coming up, seeing rigs and meeting folks and also the FJC Trail Team.
Have some questions and if someone could answer them I'd appreciate it:
Is this open to most anyone? (IE. Would my dad and I be welcome even though neither of us are TAC members?)
What's the cost to join TAC?
What's the cost for this picnic/event to do some 4-wheeling?
Are there scheduled times for trail runs or just go when you want?
What time do things get going and wind-down Friday/Saturday/Sunday?
Come and join the fun, the more the merrier. TAC dues are a whopping $10.00. Just bring a side dish for dinner Sat. We just go when a bunch wants to go. People come and go as their schedule permits. Wind down when we a worn out. We are on our way now. Look forward to meeting new folks.
Just saw your post. I hope you and your dad can come to the farm. WE would love to meet you. You don't have to join but membership is only 10.00.I think the iggest crowd is expected sat. Molle guys are grilling Hot dogs for lunch sat. They are also BBQing sat night. Sat nights dinner is pot luck also. The TTT is cooking tonight . Stop by any time . Maybe someone else will post up more info . Please Please Please come!!
Thanks for letting Ethan cool down in your house. I think he might be getting the wheeling bug. He kept asking me to go 4 wheeling everytime I would come back to base camp. Justin
Thanks to Lance and Debie for hosting a great event. Kellie, Aidan, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming, and we look forward to seeing you all at the next event.
Here's another huge shout out to Lance, Debie and Alex for hosting a great weekend. We're already looking forward to next year.
A big thanks to the folks from Mollee Toyota and the FJ Trail team (Garrett, Gustov, Will and Woody). It was a pleasure to meet all the new faces and have the time to BS.
