Who posted video of ...?

I recall someone posting a video of the running board trim mod without first removing the board from the truck. The trimming was done on the truck and then the waste material was dropped away when the brackets were removed. The benefit was not breaking all those clips/pins behind the doors.

My search of the videos on GXOR and youtube turned up nothing.

Does anyone recall who posted it?

I haven't seen it but I also watched this guy linked below for some ideas. Note how he shows you to just cut the few tabs to remove the middle section of trim from the rest. So I'm not convinced on the truck is easiest....

It is super easy to do with the boards attached to the truck. I saw a video a while back on GXOR.

It may be, I didn't do it that way. Clips are not that bad. Here's a video I made. I didn't lose or break a single one, only took me a few minutes to get them off.
