Well the results are in from throw back Thursday. Had some 315 nittos mounted up on a set of freshly painted 80 series wheels (hey they are 13 yrs older) . While I know I like the look of 37s better jury is still out on the white but they drive nice. Maybe it just needs a square bezel to justify em but they are starting to grow on me. I had a few comments about the sequoias being to "modern" for the truck. I must just like the wheels cause I thought they look good on every cruiser ive mounted them on. I'm sure they will grace the truck again at some point. What it really needs is an OEM set widened by Stockton and some chrome domes :D

We had tried black gray and silver so why not white? I'm in 8 bucks :)

The marsh racing black steelies were probably the best "fit" but too much back spacing for my taste.

I think the size looks good but if they were satin black or maybe Teflon anodized you would have something. Looks like you are in the landscape business? I am too. Do you use your truck as DD? I'm thinking mine would be a good marketing tool, if it ever sees asphalt LOL.

I'm a big fan of black rims. They look real nice but the white looks really good with the white bezel and roof on your truck! I thinks you should leave them on for a while and see how they go.

As you said, and i agree, a set of OEM rims widened with chrome hubcaps would be the best thing you could do, that would be awesome!!

Thanks for the pics of your truck, I love it!

 i was wondering where this post went? Been working away from home and relegated to surfing mud on the phone only. Thought i had posted this in the SC clubhouse.

Thanks fellas. The white has grown on me but without the top and bezel i dont think it would look as good. Agreed a matte black set of teflon mohaves or some widened steelies would be my first choice. Soot that color combo is great above!

Merbesfield....yes I am; landscape arch and garden consult services. Ive poked around your site before. Looks good! The 45 was my marketing plan and attempt to distinguish design/gardening services from the everyday mow blow and go crews. It is my DD and goes to work within a 2hr radius, otherwise the 80 gets called up. The plan was for a simple vinyl bed wrap but i got some metal and paint work to do before it meets their requirements. I still need a thread of sorts here
