I need "research" (FSM info) on some other Toyota vehicles so I can try and match ECU connections. I am looking at buying one of these APEXi AVC-R electronic turbo boost controllers. They show like a Supra, Celica, MR2, Starlet and a couple others.
I doubt the other boys down there would do that.

I have one...the PO installed it, so I'm not much help there. But I've read up quite a bit on the on the internet and it doesn't look like it is that big of a deal. What are you installing it for?

Your signiture says "Super charger" I wonder why you have one then? I am installing it to have better control over my turbo. Also looking at the fuel management and possibly water injection too.

Same reason you're looking for one then. Make sure you're never running to lean.

I use it a lot more than I thought I would....makes passing emmissions a breeze!!!

Are you sure the unit you have isn't the Apexi S-AFC unit? That unit is for control of air/fuel. I am also looking at one of those, but the unit I was talking about was the Apexi AVC-R it is a turbo wastegate controller, it wouldn't do anything for a supercharger.

Perhaps you could post a pick of it? I am curious as to where the control is mounted.
