Well it's about damn time. :D

Depending on who does it.....if they buy "Land Cruiser install kits" the install kits don't come with the big bearing(s) they need (52 or 54mm...something like that). So, make sure they snag those. Somebody who truly knows the answer will chime in.

This is SOOOO true! :D

The shop that I'm going to have do the install are mostly Jeepers but they are serious about 4 wheeling and top notch gearheads so I have the utmost in confidence. I'm certain I'll be their first 100 but not their first 'yota. I figured any insight y'all could provide I can pass along. Just not many 100 folks that are fully locked to provide that insight I suppose.

The l/c install kit should include all of the bearings, look closely though some of the kits have some variations (have them match the bearings when they are out) One thing I added was a solid pinion spacer in the front, instead of the crush sleeve, same as the high pinion 80 diff,( I think I bought from marlin crawler) I'm not aware of one for the rear ( I didn't do the rear since mine is a 99 l/c with e-locker.

Hope this helps.

are the lockers in yet? this sounds like a sweet setup.

Not yet, gotta find time to get it to the shop (2 hours away :frown: )

Thanks for the info Ben I'll pass that along to the installer.

if you don't mind sharing, could you give a breakdown on the total price when the project is finished. I have been searching for a locked 98/99, but this sounds like a nice option for a unlocked 100.
