love joe walsh, zeppelin, beatles, ac/dc, pink floyd, clapton, bad company i could seriously name at least 20 ranking as my favorites!

i think i was born in the wrong decade....

You certainly do not fit the stereotype of 17...hunting, Cruisers, and good music - what is wrong with this picture?

You forgot to mention the Eagles...

The only band I ever saw at Red Rocks was Indigo Girls - I regret that moment in my life but went for the sake of the girlfriend who turned gay a year later...hmmm...

Jeff,

I always enjoy the great pics you two post. Beautigul country for sure! Curious though .. can you climb right up to that ruin you have a pic of? It might be WhiteHouse or Gila you mentioned?

On another note .. can folks stay the nite in the ruins ? Make a fire ? Camp?

I remember taking my stepkids to a 200 yr old Ojibway village here, and it started to rain out .. so I found us a tee pee (huge!) and we made a very small fire inside, and loafed around and told stories for an hour or so .. not sure that was cool with the band or not  A memory I won't soon forget though. If I ever buy just land, on a nice lake again .. I'd love to have a big birchbark tee pee up by the shoreline. Heck they even have doors hinged with leather .. bloody amazing creations :D

TY

At Gila you can climb around in the ruins - pretty cool - I went in the winter and it was 30 degrees - so nice because no one else was there...

At Canyon de Chelly - you can camp near the ruins on private property that belongs to the Navajo - they will do a big shindig with frybread and mutton and dancing if you want...cost $$$...or stay in the local park - you also have to be guided up the Canyon if you take your own vehicle...$15 an hour...not bad with the cool commentary...

Thanks on the pic's - the Tee Pee out here is used all the time by the Native American Church for ceremonies - yes Peyote - yes I have - fascinating...
