Jason, Hidden Falls is a ORV park that abot 45 minutes- 1 hr drive from Austin and 6 East of Marble Falls on Hwy 1431(about 45 min. from my house). It is roiughly 3000 acres (not all wheelable, but most). Has two camping areas, the first one is about 1 1/2 miles off the hwy the other is about a mile down the road from that one (down the ranch road of the park). The trails are anywhere from easy to pretty extreme (maybe not Katemcy extreme, but close). Most of the trails are pretty narrow and in wet weather ravines. The cost is $25 for truck and driver, $10 more for passenger. Camping is any where from $40 a nite to $10 for primative. There are shopwer and restrooms available in the park. Good thing here is, they are wanting more trails to be cut. Most of the Austin Club goes out a couple of weekends a month to wheel and cut trails(although not that often lately). This is not Katemcy, but it does have potential. Check out their web site www.hiddenfallsadventurepark.com They also have a shooting range (bring ammo) and allow atv's and dirt bikes on part of the property. I have even seen a few horses and mountain bikes on occasion. There is plenty of room and most of the trails are usually marked pretty well. SOme of the views are really good also from the higher places in the park. SO if you get a hankerin' for something different, come on down!!!
