So as i was bored, i decided to actually do some closer measurements of what i've got coming.

right now i'm on a full set (including spare) of MB Razor wheels. they're the 17x8.5 and offset of -6...

i have a set of 5 285/70/17 BFG AT's coming...

here's the problem... 285's w/ 8.5" wide wheels that have a -6 offset. i'm no doubtably going to rub... badly.

was curious for those who have done a body mount chop. on average what has been some of the costs to do this at say your local 4x4 shop? cause by the looks of it, i'll rub pretty bad once i've turned the wheel 1 full spin to left or right...

Actually I have 285/70/17 Cooper Discoverer ATR at the stock rims
I run them with a 1,5 inch lift. Sometimes, when I'm turning to the left and the wheel is going down in a hole the left one rubs a little bit. No, I'm not too worry about that little rubbing.

I also have a set of 285/75/16 BFG MT from my HDJ80 (on stock rims) but did not run them till yet. I will try them next spring time. I think it will be the same, both are 33 inches.

I'd expect to pay $150-250 depending on what type of shop you go to. I found a local "mobile" welder who came to my house, did it in my driveway in a couple hours and charged me $200...
