Hi everyone. I'm doing a weekend warrior project on my 100 Series Land Cruiser. I am waiting until Monday for ARB to answer me back but I am hoping for a faster response here:

I ordered some ARB Old Man Emu upper control arms for my 100 Series Land Cruiser and there is a bracket that sticks out and rubs on the metal (non-flexible) part of my brake line when the suspension is at full droop. I assume I'm supposed to relocate the brake lines but it was not discussed in the included instructions nor was I given any additional hardware to do so in the box.

Does anyone have these Old Man Emu UCAs can tell me what is solution? I could just remove the bracket with a grinder or bend it but not sure if that is really what I'm supposed to do.

you don't need that tab if you don't have AHC. so just bend it out of the way or grab a pair of pliers and twist it back and forth until it breaks off ?

Just installed mine a month or two ago. I need to check mine for this.

That's my plan but just want to make sure I don't void my warranty doing this...waiting to hear back from Mudify.com and ARB.

Please check! Brakes are important!

It is only a problem at or near full droop for me but I like to off-road so suspension droop is important. Just wondering if I am a special case or if I messed up the install somehow or this is a systemic issue with these UCAs.

Update: ARB USA got back to me today and said the bracket can be removed without voiding my warranty.

It sounds like this won't be a problem in the future. According to my e-mail, "There was a running design change to allow that bracket to be installed and removed using a bolt and captured nut."
