What kind of dog does this puppy look like

We got this little guy two weeks ago and he now 9 weeks old.

Does anybody have any idea what breed he looks like?(Sorry the picture is a little small) The mother was a mix but definelty looked mostly like a yellow lab but quite a bit larger and they don't know what the father was. The vet figures he has some husky in him.

Any thoughts?

Mutt is right. I don't think any sheltie though he is going to be to big. I am thinking lab husky cross to. Either way he sure is a laid back puppy my other two where alot more hyper than this little guy.

I'd get rid of it! In a couple of years it will be eating the neighbors lawn furniture (which you'll have to pay for). In an effort to cut your losses, you'll drop it off at the pound, only to find it back in the back yard cause the wife found it and bailed the little bastard out for the price of $150.00.

Happened to a buddy of mine. We found a similar looking mutt at a camp ground (somebody dumped it) before we headed down river for a 4 day float. Since Terry didn't show up, we named him Lil Tarry. Talked one of the guys into keeping it. Cute little fellow when it was young. Got spoiled laying in a canoe, eating deer steaks and grouse for four days. Then turned into his worst nightmare.
