what is the proper Mud etiquette for posting classified ads?

Here is what I mean, I just finished posting a laundry list of parts I have available from my FJ40 parts rig over on the national side of the board.

Should I include a link to that thread here in the local board, cut and paste the original thread over here or just scream at the top of my lungs that I have parts available?

there are a few enticing items but are probably much too large to ship so they would do better over here, but I already posted the thread in the classified section.

Sorry just trying not to rock the boat.

Bear

Quick man, post a link!

Are you going to tech session? If so, that's a great place to lighten your load.

On edit: I'm in for the wiper motor and cover if it's still available!

motor and cover still available!

here is the link (just wanted to make sure it was okay to post before doing so.) https://forum.ih8mud.com/sale-parts/199680-plans-change-fj-40-now-being-parted-out.html

and I thought I already missed the "tech section" got the details for me? I wanted to go. but like I said I thought I missed it already.

I would definitely like to sell the 2F and the remaining drive line locally if possible.

thanks! I am suppose to go help some buddies finish up some sliders, but I'll try my best to attend! Would like to meet up with some of you guys!

Awesome!

I"ll be at tech until about 3p on Saturday as long as I'm not out plowing snow.

I'll PM you my # incase we don't meet up on Saturday.

Thanks,
AJ

my email is medleyofphoto <at>hotmail dot com. I don't always empty the pm box quick enough.

I am going to try to make the tech day, but I do already have plans, so it may be tough for me to get there.

I can go ahead and take the cover and motor off if you would like.

AJ,

I marked the cover and motor "sale pending" for you. I am going to try to make the tech day as I mentioned before, but I am not sure yet if i will make it.

I told Mike I would call him Friday to let him know if I am going to be able to make it. If I can't make it, I'll contact you as well so we can arrange getting you the wiper parts you need.

Awesome, thanks Bear! Hope to finally meet you at tech, if not, then sometime soon!

I am looking forward to it.

Now I just have to get my truck's axle rebuilt (outdoors since it doesn't fit in the garage anymore) as well as pull the parts off the Fj. LOL!

why do we do what we do to ourselves. I for one must be a glutton for punishment!:D

Hey AJ, I haven't heard from either you or Mike on the parts you guys were interested in. I have everything off and ready if you guys want to meet up on them.

If you are not interested any longer, just let me know.

Thanks

Sorry Bear, After Tech things have been a little crazy. Mike and I are definately still interested in the parts. It's just a little hard to get jazzed up about working on something when it's -2* outside.:D

you're telling me about getting jazzed! I have been outside rebuilding my axle on the Tacoma in this weather! :D It goes something like this…5 minutes working on something inside the diff, then 10 minutes in front of the heater trying to regain feeling in the finger tips to be able to feel what I am doing.:frown:

I completely understand about the parts, I just wanted to make sure you were still interested, and if at all possible see if we could arrange something. my HOA is becoming a pain and I need to move some things around

thanks again!
