What have you done to your Land Cruiser this week?

Went on the First Annual Fort Campbell Trail Ride. Attendance was a little short at only one ride but registration was pretty cheap at $5.50 . . .

buy one for your wife - double attendance next year :hillbilly:

Fixing the passenger floorpan and tearing out the interior to coat the floor of the entire rig. Is there an easy way to get that hard, rubbery crap off the floor, or am I gonna have to cover over it?

paint thinner

Replaced back cylinders, changed the clutch fluid which was more like chocolate sauce! Took it to my friends place and then jumped in his BJ40 with Volvo C303 Axles, Supra Turbo engine, air lockers and a few other bits n pieces. Met up with his friend in another BJ40 - red with Ninja axles (no lockers!).

Drove an hour or so on the highway and then off into the Malaysian jungle for a bit of fishing - my first Kelah fish! Some great stretches of serious muddy stuff! The vid doesn't really show the steep angles, but all good fun!

Good fun! - YouTube

After the first set of stills is a clip where Lee, in the yellow beast, is towing Ben. The undulating slope was about 35 to 40 degrees! The noise of the rev limiter and blow off from the turbo was awesome!

Looks good!! That looks like the metal tech full cage, did you use that notching collar tool they sell?...if so, how well did it work for you?

Mike did you sneak in my garage again while I was out?

That's a nice rig, Love the color....Lucky :censor:
you too can have this color rig: 22 cans of rustoleoum spruce green from lowes, 3 rolles of blue painters tape, 2 refrigerator boxes, 20 hours, 2 paint mask, and one heck of a soar finger and you are done!!

No, I have my own well used pipe coping tool. There are also several free web sites I use to print out paper templates for manual coping. These work well when angles exceed 50 degrees (i.e. the top bar on the Metaltech Nose Guard). 50 degrees is about the practical limit of most "standard" pipe coping tools and hole saws.

Well all my parts arrived so I decided to install my winch and wire up the Runva solenoid.

Here's how I mounted the solenoid.
