Then I used Rust Bullet and coated my skid plate,

I painted the inside yellow and the outside hammered metal black.

Locked my keys in her... Thanks to 70's engineering I was able to use a broom, hanger and some duct tape to retrieve the keys and get back in! Love the foot vents!

Been there, done that.

I have just bought a brand new BJ40 radiator that is indistinguishable from OEM.

It arrived on my doorstep yesterday.

And it cost less than it cost me to recore my original radiator 12 years ago

Drool over these pics:

What's more, they sell quality copper/brass FJ40 radiators too!

Not really a mod, high dive on behind the rocks is way duck out, tire caught a rock and rolled her on her side.

Now I need a windshield frame.

bent the new fuel and vent lines to run along the frame from the aux tank in the rear

installed the new replacement PS pump.

took the drive lines to the shop to have them checked, balanced, and u-joints replaced. also replace the busted zerk fittings in the slip joints.

discovered the rear pinion flange, moves independently of the pinion by about a 1 degree :(
