If you have not desmogged, the fuel cut solenoid is controlled by the emissions computer. It grounds it.

The powers of MUDSHIP. West Plains, MO to Glasgow, KY to Asheville, NC. I drove 10 hours round trip to pick them up this morning from KY.
Now I will have bench seats in the front.
Thanks @clrussell for selling them and thanks to @wileycoyote for toting them from MO to KY next to his bada$$ diesel LC. Thing looks showroom clean on the inside!!
Anyone re-foam their rear jump seats? I am going to order the matching seat covers for the jump seats and haven’t researched…probably need to search first.
Now I will have bench seats in the front.

My current jump seats have minimal foam…below the foam it is like horse hair or a course stringy fabric or something. No idea. For the new covers I’ll just do 2” foam only.
Cleaned instrument cluster contacts for lighting and dimmer / rheostat… I HAVE instrument lights now!!! (But my fuel gauge now reads full full… but I know I only have about 1/2 tank… any thoughts? (Yes I had all the gauges out and cleaned)
Enjoyed a day out on the farm with my pa watching the baler. Wanted to help him move the bales but he wouldn't let me, didn't want me to get dust inside the cab 
I stuck some “new” wheels/tires on her. The white sure brings it together and the tires are giving me a “softer” ride. Also took the bezel back down to original color. Not perfect by any means but somewhat pulls that back in a s well.

Appreciate that. Yeah I was stubborn and went black bezel and wheels. Ha
Went to an upholstering shop to inquire about getting my original seats redone. Ended up buying two used seats with recliner and headrest. For all of less than $400 US dollars, the rails will be extended so I can slide back further. Also the seats will be reupholstered to match what was originally there and a center console will be installed. Cheers!

Installed the front bumper and the rear tire carrier.
Have you had your fuel tank sender out to look at it? Mine was wasted. Also, after putting my new one in, it was still hanging up at 1/2 tank when fuel level would drop below that. I took the sender back out and realized the install is clocked so the float does not hit the side of the tank and give false readings. Lessons learned.
Never have but I understand how gauges work and the most likely problem here is a short to ground after the gauge.
I suppose a hung float is another possibility.

When full my gauge only shows at 1/2 tank…then goes down from there. I’ve tried a new gauge, grounds, etc. No idea what the issue is.

Got the bench seats in. If I’m being honest, I love the look, but don’t *love* the seats. The driver seat is about 2-3” lower than my previous seats, they are squishy, the driver seat bottom is smaller than the previous seat I had so it is kind of like balancing (I’m not a big guy…170lbs) and they are slippery. Maybe I will get used to it. I might have to figure out a way to raise the driver seat. Passenger seat is fine and not as squishy to sit in. It feels different driving bc I’m so low. But they look good….lol.
