Decided to finish tackling the drivers side floor. Previously I had rust converted the large scale rust, but then I found the clutch master was leaking down the firewall. Removed the master, applied Zep and used my hot steamer to clean up residue, then hit the whole side with Capri Blue paint from PaintScratch. Even though it was 42 degrees the paint adhered and I think it’s a good match. Now on to the passenger side and remove the gas tank.

Went up n round the hills here in West Salem... nice day...
Progress is slow but I'm getting there. Other than bits and pieces and the tub everything has been sandblasted and primed. The doors all need work on the bottom section.

I believe it was just base-coat spray paint that they mixed. There is an option box for single-stage that I missed. I only bought 1 can, and pretty much used it all. I'll buy a few more, even though it's $26.95 a can + shipping. The color and blending worked pretty well. But I'm no expert... just wanted to cover the converted rust.

Drove it up to a local trailhead.
Installed a new MOLLE seatback panel from Blue Ridge Overland Gear
The tank is coming along nicely, drilled and welded the front X member in the morning. Lining up the sheetmetal as well. She’s coming with when we move in June under her own power.
Drove it. 700 kilometers of drought ridden outback roads from Broken Hill to White Cliffs, out to a friends property for the weekend then home again.
Two classics right there!
