Nothing like when things go according to plan. Put the OEM spacers on top of my Foxn 2.0s to get her back leveled. Took 3hrs with a little help from a friend. Doesn't get much more level than this.

When you’re driving town, the front will naturally rise due to torque induced on the frame and suspension from the driveline. When you have people/ things in the rear, it will be exacerbated.

Do you really want the front to be higher than the back? It’s generally bad for handling characteristics and looks silly.

Cruisers are designed to have rake.

sweet, thanks!

I'm assuming they dont make a black trim for the rear glass (curved piece)?
Did you ever get an answer to this? I replaced my door trim pieces but now have to figure out what to do with the back window trim.

Have you checked out max droop? Many aftermarket shocks already extend droop travel. Stacking a spacer along with extended shocks has the potential to increase downtravel to a point that it may stress the CVs. There's anecdotal evidence that at more extreme angles, it has the potential to grenade CVs. Hard to tell what's too much as there's no identified measurable threshold at the moment.

Rigs looking good. May want to consider a mild front diff drop.

Builded a drawer system. Frame it out with aluminum welded together and the box out of wood. 1/2 plywood was used to save weight. Overall 31 LB on the frame with the slider (the heaviest component) and 17 LB each box and maybe 5 LB for the the top board. Box is sprayed down with bed liner spray to withstand some abused and water repelled. If anyone is wondering how I tie it down. I used cam tie down at the factory tie down point in the rear. Solid as a rock! I need to find time to make it more aesthetically to the wife and add handles with lock. Still debating about keeping the 3rd row seats.

Looks real good! Have to ask why would you keep the third row seats in this configuration?

Been a couple months since my lift and new wheels/tires - finally replaced the spare with the same size 285/70/18

Didn't' take to long and only had to remove the stock tire wedge near the backside of the panhard bar. It's got about 3/4 inch clearance from the bar, and here's a few pics of the rest.

Stretched her legs for the first time. Great run at Tahuya with some local Mudr's...

Have definitely thought about this and a diff drop would be cheap insurance to put my mind at ease. Have talked to a few guys who wheel with a similar setup (aftermarket shocks with OE spacer), nobody has had a major issue. However, every setup is a little different. Can never be too careful

To each his own! Have an ARB bumper on order (who knows how long that will take), and that will bring the front back down. Will at some point upgrade to a more adjustable coilover setup to be able to make changes to height more easily and not run a spacer. But for now, this is how she will ride! I like the look 🤷🏾‍♂️

Just had some fun after discovering a visitor in the engine bay - LX was parked for 5 days in a different garage without any prior rodent evidence. Fun stuff, used tweezers to pull out food/s***/junk that was nestled along the injector banks.

Just a FYI if you have rodent damage. Your auto insurance will cover it under comprehensive. I hope all is well. Also I heard dryers sheet in the engine bay helps keep them out too but keel it away from hot area that could catch on fire.

Latest mod of the week (for emergencies)!

This week my 2015 LX got ceramic coated, an oil change and some fancy new shoes. I’m quite happy with the upgrade! The 18” wheels and 10 ply KO2’s feel so much better than the worn out 20’s, and I love the way they look with the TRD pro wheels! View attachment 2739150View attachment 2739151View attachment 2739152
Looks great! Would you mind providing a brief on ceramic coating? I’ve considered the 10 mil Expel coating but they are way too proud of it ($5000) for everything but the roof and the hatch. $7000 if the entire vehicle. If ceramic coating is just as good and will last I would consider it. I’ve heard it too is expensive.

I had my 17 front done with PPF, and my 21 is getting it next couple weeks @ Nicks custom detailing in Bedford. He said the ceramic coating lasts about 6 months to a year, but if I off road it any don’t bother it’ll be a waste of money. Give him a shout super nice guy and will be honest. He tried to talk me out of paint correction on my 17 but my OCD couldn’t stand it. Does great work.

Just a bit of an upgrade to the LX 570!

removing the rear shocks is an ordeal so currently. Just swapped rear springs out. Going to have to take to someone to remove old rear shocks
