1229 miles round trip to Terlingua, TX for a couple days riding motorcycles in the desert. The riding was fantastic and 20 hrs of road tripping was more than tolerable in the 100. I'm installing my air bags next weekend.

Came across this thing in the middle of nowhere. Mercedes emblem on front.

DUDE! I passed you on 118 on Sunday. You were headed north and I was headed down from Alpine.

I've had two bad experiences one at Big Bends' Black Gap road and one on HIH7. Not boiling but definitely high pressure gass build up. Not a cheap fix $700

Very curious if this fixes your problem. I had boiling once last September at the top of Imogene. Loud enough that people around at the top were asking what the hissing sound was.....that was heard over the wind at the top.

I was looking at those shackles recently, very impressive.

Can you post how much you paid? Thanks.

Where are you finding 80% off items?
Did the responsible thing and added one of these to the truck.

At 80% off :bounce: for an "open box buy" I couldn't justify passing on the opportunity.

Initial impression: quality craftsmanship

@spear2 any fitment issue on the driver side behind the battery?

I've reached the point where my rack is on and my tent has finally been installed for the first time. I drove down and picked it up in Bend (@ CVT) and then brought it back home to Portland. My rig actually handled surprisingly well up over the pass with that fairly heavy and bulky unit up there. But now I wonder which direction I'll need to go with the rear springs when I get it fully loaded down for camping. I've got OME 2865's (with a spacer) in there now, I have 2863's waiting in the garage, but I'm starting to wonder if I just ought to go right to the 2864's with all the camping gear, water, tools, refrigerator, supplies, and whatever else will eventually be loaded. I guess I'll just have to see how it reacts as I put it all together. But one thing is certain- I'll get lots of experience changing out the rear springs.

I had some air bags laying around that were purchased from a member. I put them on last week in preparation for a camping trip next weekend. I’ll be hauling a pop up, kids, dog and whatever else on top.

Another option for you that may work if your not carrying all that gear daily. There is a thread dedicated to these if you search.

Air Lift 1000

No fitment issues. Had to move the battery a little to get the bulb in then move the battery back.

JUST TO CLARIFY BUT ARE YOU SAYING YOU JUST REPLACED THE BULB FOR $30 OR THE HEADLIGHT FOR $30 AS STATED IN FIRST COMMENT?
