Slee rear went on last weekend, and this weekend was the ARB front bumper. I have a 98 but I went with the '03 bumper. It fits perfect.

Figured an easy way to mount the hi-lift on the factory rack.

Used the old shock-bushing washers. Now have over 1k rock-solid miles under the belt with it.

Wouldn't recommend in any areas where Midnight Auto Supply lurks tho...

I'd seen mixed reviews and took a shot. Pleasantly surprised that it came right away, well packaged and appears to be excellent quality. Can't say if I just got lucky but my experience was a good one.

Thanks! I posted a short description a few posts back but here are the links to the specific lights I used:

Rock Lights are LUX Monsters:

Monster LED Rock Lights

Rack Lights are KC Hilites C2:

KC HILITES | 2" C-Series C2 LED Backup Flood Light System - #519

Light Bar is EBay generic:

50inch 250W Slim low profile Single Row Cree LED Light Bar Truck 4WD SUV Offroad 6277362484692 | eBay

I like those rock lights. Did the $42 buy you 8 of them, or is that per light? I may try to incorporate these into my rock light kit, assuming they are as good quality as you say.

Pictures of final results!!!! I have mine waiting on my garage.
Any tips?

Thanks!!!

Added a 50" light bar + Rock lights!

I have a "light bar drop down" for my Gamiviti rack, but I decided I didn't want to have to remove the fairing every time I wanted to use the light bar, so I opted for a slim single-row 50" light bar on top of the rack. I had to weld on my own custom brackets, but I think it came out pretty good. It is an combo flood/driving light I found on Ebay. It is far enough forward that I can still throw my roof top box up there, and far enough back that it doesn't shine on the hood. The thing is SUPER BRIGHT!

For the rock lights, I installed LUX Monsters. Went with 4 on each side for a total of 8. Installed by running all of the wiring through the frame rails. Each light comes with 10' of cord so I daisy chained them together and had plenty of wire. The LED's are encased inside a rock-hard resin with a super strong magnet on the back, so you can literally slap them on just about any flat surface and they are solid. The magnets are so strong I actually cut myself trying to re-position one of them... the light snapped into place on the frame and pinched some skin. All in all the install was very easy if you are handy with a soldering iron and cable fishing tool. Really happy with the light output, but ordering from LUX was a PITA. From my experience, they have 0 customer service. Had to issue a claim on PayPal to get my items shipped. But so far the product is great, so I'm still a happy camper.

Everything is hooked up to my Switch-Pros sp9100. I have the device programmed so the rock lights turn on when I hit the unlock button or open a door. It's still light out on the west coast, but I'll snap some night pics and post a bit later.

Nice posting. The snorkel, what brand? and do you like the anti-glare patch on your hood. Nice rig.

I actually ordered the LUX Max but they upgraded me to the Monsters to help remedy the poor customer service I received. It is priced per light, but I was able to buy an 8-pack for $233. I was comparing them to Rigid’s rock lights and LUX seemed to be producing a better product at a lower price. However, the total cost of my project was much higher if you include everything else I needed to finish the job (switches, soldering iron, cable fishing tool, etc, etc). Initial quality does appear to be good, but time will tell.

For those of you out there looking for an easy “plug and play” rock light solution you should definitely check out the Owl Expeditions product by contacting @Ramathorn15.

Ohh man. I was thinking if it was $40 per 8 it would be a good replacement for my kit, or a way for me to reduce the cost of my kit. They look great though and I love the magnet idea.

Got it from Duisers. 100 Series Land Cruiser 1" Body Lift Kit. Arrived in afew days. Has all the hardware too.

The duiser kit description cracks me up...
"Why do we provide only standard hardware?
Simple, because standard hardware is much easier to source, is cheaper and stronger. All of which is better for you, the customer!"

I didn't know mcmaster had a shortage of metric fasteners. Cheaper? maybe. And stronger? uh.

Ziptied off about an extra foot and a half of the stretchy stuff in the rear cargo area storage compartments. It looked like a dead snake falling out every time I ever opened them.

Then for the first time in 3 years I put something in there. The ARB recovery damper fits perfect and if I never use it, its just really expensive sound deadening.

hmmmmm, aprox $, why the fix, did you have fuel boiling out at high altitudes?

I've had two bad experiences one at Big Bends' Black Gap road and one on HIH7. Not boiling but definitely high pressure gass build up. Not a cheap fix $700
