I forgot I Ditched my old Tundra 18” wheels and went back to my stock 16” wheels with 285/75/R16 Falken Rubitrek Tires.

Been almost a month and truly enjoying them

Just a follow up post on my header replacement and where the leak was. This was (of course) the driver side forward most cylinder.

The rest looked fine surprisingly it was just the one that was cracked.

Nice! The 16" wheels on my 26 year old rig were "done" so went the opposite direction and got a set of 18" Tundra wheels. LOL. I do like the look of 16s though on these vehicles.

Went camping in southern Arizona with a friend. Drove the Camino del Diablo from Organ Pipe National Park west towards Yuma. Then went went up to the Kofa National Wildlife Refuge.

Front: Swapped the factory LX470 torsion bars for CruiserPatch 27 mm AHC bars and added the Ironman lower control arm reinforcement brackets.

Rear: Replaced the LC AHC springs with Slee 30 mm spacers for non-AHC LC springs, and installed Perry Parts extended bump stops.

Driving around tomorrow to let things settle and then adjusting AHC pressures.

$483 for part and shipping from IMPEX and about $63 tax/tariff. 15% tax on anything coming in from Japan, I guess. I just ordered $900 from Partsouq and got hit with a 30% tax/tariff. Yikes. Thank you, DJT.

Usually the shipping company so DHL, FedEx, or UPS
Maybe the place you bought it from if they pay the fee you'll see that on the shipping price tho

Yep. As others have said, the shipping co. I've paid both DHL and FedEx. And the further insult is that it seems to slow down shipping by a few days. It gets shipped quick, but now you have the accounting people at DHL and FedEx to deal with.

Owned it 2 weeks and already had the 20 years of door dings PDR’d, timing belt replaced along with all the other recommended parts in that, picked up a set 13’ charcoal Lx 570 wheels and waiting on my Toyota RT Trail 295/55/20 tires to come in. OEM CV axles install this weekend, Yatour Bluetooth added to the cd input.

Man, that is one slick 100…. can I ask what type/percentage of tint is on the windows, if you know? I’ve been wanting to do a tint on my 1999 to darken up the windows a bit.

20 on the front because I just had them done and forgot to add that to my post. The rest was limo from what the guy at the tint place told me. Honestly it’s really freaking dark in the back seat but I wasn’t about to redo it! It’s a beautiful car, 1 owner California ride. Not a speck of rust garage kept. Drove it all the way to Houston in 2 days on a prayer and motivation. Will look similar to this with LX570 wheels when done but much better tires on mine.
