Not the best lighting since I couldn’t wait to get her cleaned up with the newer wheels and new tires. To me it looks like it could have come this way from the factory. Thoughts?

Yup, those steelies would be my jam as well. That vehicle color is my jam as well.Extra clean truck, more of a smaller wheel bigger rubber type myself. If and when I need to replace wheels something along these lines.

When i replaced mine i was stressed about this and doing that mine is an updated version that didn’t have the grommet
I can relate. Replace can cover seal. Successful on pass side but driver’s side i pinched the seal and had oil coming out and had to redo it.No good deed goes unpunished...saw a couple of drips below my car at work yesterday and found a leak from the heater T area after re-doing my Ts and hoses along with the rest of the cooling system last week. Today I cleaned the area, ran the car, and inspected...turns out either I damaged one of the brand new hoses during install or it was flawed from the factory, because the leak progressed from a slow drip to a spray after the car warmed up. I'm lucky to have made it home yesterday (~45 min commute)!

Hose ordered to local Toyota dealer and hopefully will be back on the road soon. Ironically the only time this vehicle has let me down in my ownership history is after preventive maintenance went awry...
Oof, that sounds not fun! Even so, probably cheaper to DIY this stuff even accounting for mistakes, and it ensures we know the vehicles much better in the event something happens on the road. Plus no one around here seems to want to tackle preventive maintenance or do things what I consider to be 100% correctly.I can relate. Replace can cover seal. Agreed. It’s just satisfying to know you took care of it even though it’s not “fun” modsOof, that sounds not fun! What an amazing opportunity with the engine out.Not as interesting but I finally pulled out the old leaky steering rack today, cleaning the area and will paint the rusty welds before reinstalling the new Toyota rack.

Where did you get the paint and how long did you fight that steering rack. Nice rig. This week I also replaced my power steering rack with a new OEM as well as repacked my wheel bearings. Also got a smoking deal on KO3s (x5) with the lifetime warranty. Finally repainted that terribly scuffed & scratched body molding on the passenger side. I bought the wrong color of paint for the body molding. But I dig it, so I’ll paint the other side as soon as another can of paint arrives. Up next is the timing belt, shocks, and a new radiator. The timing belt is due, but the radiator-while not leaking, is showing its age. 272k and I’m trying to stay ahead of all the stuff that a lot of people ignore.

So the front, with upgraded AHC T-bars, is at 5.8 with bumpers and sliders. That's what I was looking for, thank you for that!Following up after dialing in the AHC.
21” from the middle of the hub to the bottom of the fender in the front and 22” in the rear.
Pressures are low without driver, passengers, dogs, or gear. Big Bend trip coming up and will take pressures again fully loaded and trailer hitched up. I have coil spring airbags as well if things get too heavy.
