My wife and I vacationing in Soqotra, Yemen last October. The only way to get around some parts of the island was by foot, camel or LAND CRUISER. We chose to take the Toyota. Paved roads built in the late 50s or early 60s by British were glass smooth but when they ran out, the going was rough. When I learn how to upload video, I'll show some of the roads traveled with the FZJ80. There were a few Land Rovers on the island... not running and up on blocks, lacking parts, roosts for chickens and goats. Note the barn doors on the LCs. As we were bouncing around the island, we agreed, "We have to get one of these!"
