Or what have you been quoted to linX the inside? From the pedals to the rear lip.

both my landcruiser and my brothers were done. We had them do the pedals and the lip. It cost around 500 dollars. The pedals are great, however one caution on the lip. If you run a top don't do the lip. Yea its nice it won't rust between the top and body but it lifts the top up too much so that the doors don't seal correctly. Another warning with lineex they don't put enough pigment in the mix so it does fade rather quickly. We did ours at linees and my Dad did his 72 chevy their and all faded with in the first year. But my dad did have his Duramax done in Vancouver at Body Armor Performance Accessories and his has yet to fade. It was them that told us that line-ex doesn't put enough pigment in their mix which makes them fade.
But if you don't mind the fading, and don't run a top on your cruiser: its makes for a great look and easy to clean. Hope my 2cents was helpful.

Thanks for the reply. 1 Month goes by with no responses and boom! There is one. I was probably going to have the LineX as the same color as my Cruiser. My 40 it a light tan so I don't think I would have to worry about fading.

I got quoted $1500 for linex, interior and underbody in Boise ID last week. Scared me off amd am now looking for alternatives.

Search linex in FJ40 forum and will see my thread on reasonable prices (in last two weeks). Lots of comments there.

Curious if they add the pigment in shop? If so, I bet it wouldn't be too hard to give the guy a little extra for him to throw in some extra pigment.

Oh and one other thing to consider our cost was from the road show discount which in sense is a quick or lower end product then the linex line. So make sure if your quote was at 1500 dollars that the extra pigment is added to ensure long lasting color and visual beauty. While our "discount" was cheaper we would have paid much more just to get a product that would last over time and the fade of the sun. Considering my dads 72 shinny finish on his linex lasted all but a month or two and his 2007 duramax diesel with a body armor spray protectant looks better then the 72 and the landcruiser after a year then the others did after a month. NOt sure if that made sense. But I bet it would help if you could get the shop to gurantee their product up front on paper, and to get them to add that extra pigment...
