Didn’t get the one for the bottom since I’m using the vc120 with the vent to the outside in the bottom of the canister.

So minor but this has been driving me crazy since I got the truck 4 months ago. Got one from Solve Function but it still had a big gap around the ignition. Got this one off Etsy. Not OEM but works.

Ya know why there such a big gap on the solve function? You're missing the door light glow ring that has caused a few low batteries when they think they won't run the battery down when they switch their overhead lights into the off position and leave the driver's door open.

Anyway to polish the knuckle balls? I was thinking a light grit sand paper or emery cloth.
I used light grit paper to do mine. Knuckles had some deep grooves, so i filled them with JB Weld & smoothed them down. I figured it’s just filling the groove & it’s the felt that seals the grease inside, so no big deal. No more leaky knuckles!

That is a great method @ColoradoBoy on the knuckle using jb welds.
I accidentally stripped one of my crossmember bolt hole. @Fj80oregon or anyone else. Should I
use the helicoil method? There are four bolts on each side of the crossmember. Maybe without one may
be fine, but I'm somewhat ocd. Happy weekend all.

Helicoil it. It will then be stronger than the other three.

The frame mounting holes for the cross member?
Try and run a Thread chaser on it to clean it up, next helicoil or time sert. Or be a dirt bag and don’t fix it! You have 4 bolts per side and 3 will get it done.
