Absolutely gorgeous spring day here in north Georgia mountains. 69F and mostly sunny.

New Toyo R/T Pros made that 7/10 hill clime that the BFG A/T KO2s got clogged up with mud on, look like cake. Definitely not my skills (because I barely have any, but am improving I think, no overconfidence for me)… so has to be the Tires.

Went down to 11.5 lbs for the tires. meant for 13.5 but for some reason the 13.5 I set the deflators to on my FJ’s Continental “A/T”s was 11.5 on this. They were fine and there are some serious roots I took sidewall hits on no issues at all. Love the Method 703 Bead Grip looks and so far performance.

Welp, kid is about done urinating on nature, time to get to the bottom and air back up. Liking my MORRate inflator and 4xHoses too.

Not sure of we can upload videos, but will do that when I have more than 2 bars of LTE or maybe create a YouTube account and paste the link or something to show the hill climb. Certainly hardest thing this newbie has ever done.

So I finally got around to consolidating my gear and was able to cut the drawer system down in half. All my tools are in the drawer and the recovery gear is on the shelf overhead. The spare tire solution is temporary, I plan on either buying the Bell Fab spare time mount or having my fabrication guy build me something similar to the Bell Fab mount.

Found a killer deal on the local clubhouse for a roof rack. Went this morning and picked it up and the previous owner helped me load it onto the roof and than I proceeded to watch him secure it down.

Now onto the fun stuff, planning out what I will be running on the roof rack. So far I know solar (at some point), Star Link and a couple rifle cases for either gear or electronics.

Well, after many, many, many detours that came up along the way…. The @PIP hydroboost adapter works great! Brakes feel amazing, stops great and nothing seems to leak anymore.

I, like many others, underestimated the softness of the power steering gear, learned how to make brake lines, and can get the PS pump off in about 10 min now.

Thanks @Outsane for finding a psc res mount for me too!

Don't forget to add a fluid anti splash pressure relief valve or you may have fluid puking out of the reservoir on off camber situations or on hills. You should consider rotating the the passenger side battery so that the positive terminal is not close the the fender or hood. The battery terminals are in the center of the battery so fitment is not an issue. Have to redo your cables but it would be a much safer installation.
I took your advice and rotated the passenger side battery today. I was rewiring the Blue Sea ML-ACR so I figured I would flip the battery at the same time.

Nice. What did you run off the pump? 16mm inverted flare?

Yes sir. Went ahead and added a derale cooler and swapped out all the fittings high and low.
Ya same. I heard of people using a banjo but I couldn’t figure that out so just did the M16 inverter. Also swapped everything out and added I think a 17” derale
