All high pressure side connections were supplied by Sweating Performance (don't use them - terrible customer service and shady). What was used, I have no idea. I did it 4 years ago when I first started working on the rig. For all low pressure fittings I used AN fittings with larger volume and a longer radius.Nice. What did you run off the pump? 16mm inverted flare?

Much betterTires and wheels this morning. Went up two sizes and a bit less aggressive tread (285/70/r17 Goodyear Wrangler Territory M/T), but the ride and noise are 100% better. Hated the old wheels from the day I first saw them.

Pictures?Replaced the passenger side mirror with a JC Whitney replacement. Had caught a limb and broke half the front cover off, wanted to replace like for like, but short of painting wasn't finding luck in that... and not paying $233 to Toyota for OEM. Also, after taking it apart, I notice the breaks in the mirror attachment points that when you go searching Youtube for EVERYONE has a video about "replacing broken Series 80 mirror) and some 3D printed files to fix... only a couple of videos (and not great ones) to really do a replacement. When I got in there, noticed prior owner had jammed some foam around it to "fix it".
In the end, I like these black (and cheap ($123/pair) mirrors better anyway. It isn't like this '97 Collector's Edition isn't but an off-road vehicle, so matching mirror paint color is over rated anyway. Black less likely to show the numerous pin stripes we will continue picking up. Now that I've done the passenger side one, will do the driver's side soon - once I knew what I was doing, wasn't too bad. The JC Whitney ones wires were TOO short, pain in the but, had to solder on another inch or so to be able to plug in. Have a set from Amazon now, pretty sure all the same Chinese stuff JC Whitney or Smiling Louie or whatever this place on Amazon was called.
Have a new "Window Master Control Panel" coming for driver's side door. Reading more sounds like it might just be a ground wire what wears out at the door hinge... so that does NOT sound like a fund replacement either... but if this window switches panel doesn't fix the driver's window, then I guess when I am replacing the mirror on that side, I'll see what I can do to add a replacement ground wire out of some nice flexible silicone wire. Better be the switch panel... I just want to get back on the trails.![]()
Has anyone used a pipe bag to fill their knuckles? When I say pipe bag I am referring to what cake decorators use for the small decorations on top of cakes. Recently I watched a YouTube via from Donut were he was rebuilding his knuckle and used zip lock bags in the pipe bag fashion. Looks like it makes thing so much easier and cleaner.Replaced inner hub seal, outer axle seal, repacked wheel bearings, cleaned A LOT of grease off the caliper and topped up the gear oil on a rear wheel that was pissing gear oil all over everything. This may have been messier than a Birfield repack.
Dawn Powerwash for the win; not cheap, but extremely effective. I know this wheel won't rust out anytime soon...

My only negative thoughts are that you may want to recess the lights on the corners...I'd rip those off in 10 minutes on the skinny PA/VA trails that I run...just a thought if the bumper is still off of the rig.Almost done with the with the wire loom, cousin installation. Lights are tested and good to go on this FB Marketplace bumper.
