Got some Kenda Klevers put on to replace the 21 year old tires. 33x10.5x15 👍

My plan is to reinstall my driver/passenger seatbelts that I just got back from Safety Restore. Though, I'm a little bummed. I chose color matching, but these are clearly not matched to the tan or beige that would be much closer to stock than dark brown!
Maybe color match to them meant to the upper housings over the bolts.
Oh well...

Would love to hear your feedback on how they turned out. Do they return nicely? The belts in my 80 just won’t return on their own these days.

Big project! No more broken tabs! I’ve had bent/broken tabs for nearly 20 years 🤣😂🤣
@Outsane to the rescue!

Does it work with scan gauge
Yes.

That said, I relocated my OBD II port behind the panel about 20 years ago. Undecided if I want to use the cut out.

Currently watching about 3 different leaks on my truck….
1) Washer fluid leak on the left front….Headlight washer system. (Yes, I need to do a delete 😫)
2) Transmission…very small leak around the outflow to the cooler where the temp sensor is installed, getting that sorted next week.
3) Power Steering….looks like a small leak from the pump, pretty sure its a gasket…probably needs rebuilt.
Found something curious with the headlight washer…..
The left side has a small hole at the plastic junction….the right side has what looks to be dried FIPG covering the same area on the plastic junction. Weird. Why is the hole there? Pressure release? It was leaking pretty good from that hole (overnight it drained the entire washer fluid bottle!)
My fix was a small piece of round plastic, super glued in place, trimmed off and then FIPG to cover the area just like the right side.
Leak has stopped…..for now.

check valves for the headlight washers, pretty common for those to leak. super expensive from the US dealer and cheap over seas. i don't really know why it needs a hole, vent for the tiny bit of air that is displaced when the diaphragm moves back and forth?

Those are one way check valves used on both the 60 & 80 series. They are prone to an internal failure and leak, excessively as you found out. Easy fix just replace. No need to remove the headlight washer system.

As to what @TheBussman said they are cheaper through Amayama.
* this post is not an endorsement for TPD by the way
