Working on replacing the rear speakers this weekend. Getting them to work with the factory speaker grills.

Love the seat covers.. I've been using these for many many years and they hold up so well and the price is amazingFinally finished refurbing the door cards. When I bought the truck the door cards had lumps missing from the top bolster. Apparently her dog just chewed everything it could. Anyway, new foam & vinyl and new carpet material on the lower portion. Plastics freshened up with some SEM Monterey. Also fitted new shallow mount speakers on the front and some nice 4" units in the rears that allow me to keep the original grills. New moisture barriers as well for the win.

This looks great. My doors cards are trashed, is it as simple as taking them to an interior upholstery place and they fix them to your liking? Do they replace the fiber backing too? Most of the holes where the plastic retainers slide onto are blown out on mine.
That looks great too; even without the chrome stripI had a local upholstery shop recently recover mine. It was more expensive than I had hoped, but they turned out great and they even ordered the leather from Katzkin to match my recovered 40th anniv seats. Unfortunately they needed to eliminate the original chrome strip that ran horizontal across the doors and replaced it with the double stitched seam. But only the “truest” will notice. I also replaced all the door speakers (Alpine front doors/Kenwood rear doors) and was able to reuse the original grills. Overall, very happy with how they turned out.

Is anyone using the Lutz Auto multi-screen clock replacement. I’ve been on the fence because you have to either relocate the OBDII or run the fuse block naked. This should solve this. So tempting.
I bought one thinking it would be cool, but then had second thoughts as I like having the clock…. so its still in the box.Is anyone using the Lutz Auto multi-screen clock replacement. I have the Speedo calibration too. Works great. I use the OEM clock as well, which is also why I’m still rocking itI bought one thinking it would be cool, but then had second thoughts as I like having the clock…. so its still in the box.
I did install their speedo calibrator and it worked great.
Reinstalled the belts today. They look good, it's really nice to not have frayed belts. Mine return kinda slow, but they were slow when I got the rig. I only had them re-webbed and not the mech repaired.Would love to hear your feedback on how they turned out. Do they return nicely? The belts in my 80 just won’t return on their own these days.
Pull the short ends and swap the sides. They'll be good for another 300k. Side of the road maintenance – ask any Aussie.Running around the Moab area. On the way down Shafer Trail I heard the dreaded"click..click" of the birfs.Anyone around the Moab area up for a little knuckle rebuilding party?
It just started.. would you suggest a new one or is it salvageable?
The dudes at Navtec keep creeping on me and asking if I'll sell it

The FIPG on the right must have been someone’s “fix”. These one way valves might be why nothing is spraying out. Thanks for the part number. Those are one way check valves used on both the 60 & 80 series. They are prone to an internal failure and leak, excessively as you found out. Easy fix just replace. No need to remove the headlight washer system.
As to what @TheBussman said they are cheaper through Amayama.

I binned these as soon as I got the truck home. Thats when i found out that the hard seat back covers were also chewed by said canine. I have new leather on the fronts and middles which looks fantastic.Love the seat covers.. I've been using these for many many years and they hold up so well and the price is amazing
Looks great, I'm gong through the same process now. I actually like it without the chrome strip. I think it looks a little cleaner and a touch more modern.I had a local upholstery shop recently recover mine.
