Got rid of the broken power antenna and installed a black rubber antenna. Much better and it actually looks cool!

Also installed some OEM Toyota side markers. What a PIA these were to install :bang:

Where did you get that antenna?>

I have the same antenna and I got it at Advance Auto Parts. It's pretty easy to do. I have a write up on doing it over at Dixieland Cruisers in my build thread.

Oh yeah thought that looked familiar, LOL.:D

Finally painted my horribly pitted/scarred factory wheels. They're still pitted, but look 100x better satin black.

Dusty, but the truck looks a lot better. Still love the old girl, scratched and dented as she might be, and have zero regrets choosing her over the new F-150 I sold.

Oh yeah, rolled 285k :)

Last weekend Flo got her 150K oil change, put Rotella in. Certainly seems to run smoother. Maybe I am just dreaming....

This weekend, I loaded the lawnmower and headed to the lake to cut some grass.
Then I replaced the dizzy ring that has been laying in my drawer for months,

What is the build up in pic #2? Normal?
I think I need to replace the rotor (pic #3), should I be worried about driving with the little crack in the rotor?

Would like to see that GoPro footage....

Buildup on the distributor is probably because the o-ring needs to be replaced and you are leaking oil which is collecting dirt.

You may have switched the spring sides inadvertently. IIRC they are side specific. My ome 850/860 setup had a lean until I switched the fronts around.

I installed 850s/863s. I followed the Slee instructions and I have the A's on the ps and the B's on the ds. I'm going to take it out this afternoon and find a ditch to flex it out to make sure the springs are seated well.

wow nate thats gonna be bad ass when all said and done!

I'm curious too. My recent experience moving from 850's (220lb/in) to 418's (300lb/in) convinced me that the 850's are not strong enough for a Cruiser with bumper/winch/ec... But, I'm sure better shocks will help. ARB is supposedly importing a ton of new suspension stuff this Fall. Maybe that will include a 2.5" heavier spring than the 850?
