Spent the last few days getting the cruiser ready for a 5 day, 4 night trip to the Great Sand Dunes, Durnango, Ouray, and Telluride. Screens finshed, footwell platform built to support mattress, ghetto sheet curtains w/ fancy binder clip mounts fabbed up, and a king size memory foam mattress cut to fit the floor. We prefer headroom so a platform is not for us. This works well and I can still sit up on the mattress at 6'2". Now it's an even comfier love machine . The bottom pic shows the bed made. Plus it keeps heavy things from sliding around while driving because they sink into the foam. The only down side I have found is that the memory foam gets full of dust and after 5 years mine has lost its elasticity and comfort. It is definitely worn out and ready for replacement.

You're talking about Navigate On Autopilot. The car does not require input (even for lane changing, it can do it when it thinks it is ok), but does require a hand on the steering wheel applying torque. The system will check every so often based on travel speed.

Drove around 1000miles all over western Montana, many of those miles on rough roads. Saw moose, elk, pronghorn, owl, bison and camped where 3 grizzly maulings have happened in the last 10 days. Believe it or not my knuckle balls have not fallen off yet after doing my cut and turn like some members have suggested . Slept in 20° weather at the top of a mountain too.

I ended up keeping both the original zip on mattress cover plus a waterproof mattress protector that was on it already so hopefully it will stay a bit less dusty. Already had a pretty comfy set up with a couple foam pieces but this will be next level comfort. Hitting the road in 45 so will see just how comfortable pretty soon!

I pulled the 6" Dobinson springs and went down to 4" Slee springs. I now have zero vibrations and the ride is so much smoother. I'm not dogging on Dobinson, the springs were there super heavy duty springs, and I don't have enough weight to make them ride like they should.

Finished installing ring pinion in front and all bearings and races and finished rear end bearing and races installed new booster for brakes new OEM calipers pads and EBC rotors new radius arms are inner seats are in old axles are back in reinstalled everything now breaking in pads/rotors and breaking in pinion and ring. A lot at all once but I kept a list and keep going over every nut bolt etc etc etc here the marking on gears after I finished how long do you really need to break in pinion and ring?

Nice! I had Pitbull Rockers on an old mini truck. Great tire for more serious 4wd use. Really liked them a lot.

On new R&P I go 500 miles and of normal
/ mild driving and no wheeling or towing. Drain fluids, inspect, refill and go. If thats what you're asking. Good work

it is, but 500 miles was not something I was aware, But im doing it. thats some driving, normal meaning speed limit and under Im guessing?

I would be more cautious of heat than speed limit. The faster you go, the shorter the drive should be. I have always driven 25 miles or so and then gotten out and felt the housing. It should be warm, but not super hot. Work up your miles driven and top speed as you get closer to that 500 mile mark. IMHO its the first 100-150miles that are most important. Don't get it too hot during that period.

Spot on. I use my hand as a temperature measuring device. If you can't keep your hand on the diff for more than a quick feel, stop and let it cool. If it's warm, or even hot but you can keep your hand on it, you're good.
