That is a plastic tank.
Looks the part number fits for a 94 but when I plug in a '97 Toyota it states in doesn't fit. mmhh.. thought they'd be the same. Part number for the '97 is 16400-66081

16400-66040 is a 3 row brass core, used 93-94
16400-66081 is a 2 row aluminum core, used 95-97

I have a 3” icon spring and fox ifp shocks.
Instead of feeling like ANYTHING turning to the steering wheel felt like no sway bars and like i had 300#’s on the roof. NOW the ass end doesn’t lean unless i am high speed corning and even then it feels tight. I thought i needed the delta vs panhard bar bracket and new panhard bushings, but turns out i just needed new links or at least bushings.
I used to hear a pop when hitting the throttle from a stop or going over bumps or braking. It is now gone. No more feeling like all the weight is up top, much more controlled and predictable.
I will be tac welding the jam nuts in place once it is all set, i cannot lift the truck any higher or it won’t fit in the garage, currently have 1/4” empty cargo bay and a full tank of gas.

Enjoyed some time in the snow and rain from I17 to Sedona.. Had a cold one when we got back to the house.
Thanks that’s very helpful. I’ll hold off the panhard bracket install also and put priority on new bushings and control arm.

Bad choice they will not let you close the hood without binding.

Addressed the 7050# my 80 weighted last time at the scales.
Went through most ever thing and removed things I have not used in a year. Also removed some tools to make repairs easier mostly air tools.
Should not be a problem as I dont work on my 80 when away traveling or wheeling. 
Latest travel weight wet minus Sam the wonder dog is now #6600
Pictured load and ready to go anywhere in the world
I weighed all my tools, spare repair parts, and special vehicle fluids for a total of ~ 85lbs. This surprised me with all I carry.
Went through most ever thing and removed things I have not used in a year. Also removed some tools to make repairs easier mostly air tools.
Should not be a problem as I dont work on my 80 when away traveling or wheeling. Latest travel weight wet minus Sam the wonder dog is now #6600

Last wheeling and camping trip of the year. Nothing spectacular given that my truck has seen 23 states this year. Everything from Key West to Boston and Jacksonville to Laguna Beach via Moab. Thinking about it this has been a fantastic year of overlanding and wheeling. bring on 2019..

I've seen your uppers from a while ago, I haven't been able to take measurements on pinion angle for what I need yet. Been going back and forth on just getting new bushings as well since mine are shot.Sleeved heavy duty unbendable links on my 80 now.
