Attended the Natural Restoration Lower Sycamore cleanup today. Good event, lots of responsible users there.

Because we had the capable trailers, were requested to recover some appliances at a more remote location. Ended up finding two mattresses, a small fridge, washer, dryer, three TVs two laptops and a bunch of junk, all of it shot up.

The main area (site 7) that we worked, by this time all of the big stuff was gone.

Trees are irrelevant, shoot them to death, no worries, they will grow back in a few decades!

Only one dumpster today, but it left totally packed and some trash went out in trailers. No weight yet, but estimated at ~6tons, representing ~$800 out of the OHV budget, for the dumpster alone.
Guaranteed, every single person there would have rather been wheeling today, the sponsors would prefer their donations were spent on OHV projects, instead of picking up after shooter pigs. This is by far the biggest recreation problem that Forest faces and the shooting community continues to deny, ignore, stand by, while the more responsible recreation communities spend their time and treasure on it. If they had any pride, it would be embarrassing!

The sooner shooting is banned on public lands, the better it will be for those who care about having nice places to recreate!
