Remember that in SoCal to travel 10 miles on the freeway can take 4 hours.

From my location it takes between 1-3 hours to get to most places, but I don’t live in the city.

Yeah, that is the stock suspension. I have the Dobinsons 3" lift ready to put on I just need to secure a press so I can change the bushings.

Last weekend I cut up a few bed frames and welded up an insert for the rear hatch. Going to cover in 1/2" plywood and carpet. I did this to move the spare tire from underneath and get a few extra storage area's along with a sleeping platform. I'll post some pics if I get some more work done this weekend if anyone is interested.

OK confession time. I've been completely distracted with with the prospect of getting a personalized plate since I bought my rig. I keep going back to it, trying new combinations of letters and numbers to spell ever increasingly dumb things, then I lose my focus and wander away to some other more (or less) pressing task, then find my way back again a few weeks later. But, it's been like this with almost everything I've bought for my 80...is there something wrong with me?

So I guess what I'm saying is I have 80 HD, if I want it...I haven't click buy yet so one of you better not snake it...

On my old rig I had FZJ TANK . To each their own.
