Gates whine and spots on the floor driving me mad. Decided to break into it tonight. Took just over 3hrs and now quiet OEM belts and no more leak. Only had to fight one screw.

Tore into my inop antenna since I have a new mast coming in on Monday. Motor works fine but looks like I will need a new smooth nylon cable. Anyone have a part number? Most of the threads I found didn't have the number and all the pics were gone. Here's what I got:

The cable is part of the mast IIRC correctly.

Yes, I know. The moonglow is awesome. If I can afford to repaint it the same color that would be my preference. The paint hasn't exactly been babied while I've had it ;)

You could comsider getting the tintable monstaliner and buying some moonglow pearl pigments. You're not necessarily limited to the colors on the their website.

Going to take a good look at my body bushings this weekend. I know the front bolts are crusted hard, and expect the others to be about the same, rubber is 26 yo so it's got to be junk, toyotablahblahblah.com adds up to more than 500 clams w/o fasteners for oem.

Thanks to mud, I saw a 2009 post from a USAF dentist in Guam that made his own 2'' BL on the cheap and it worked out. Being new, I don't yet know if there is a difference between just doing a BL and replacing all mounts (stock body height is fine for me). So, I reached the end of the internet and could not find a vendor who has a body mount kit I can just buy at a reasonable price.

So, anyone know a source I missed? Would like to save $ and time with a kit b/c the materials and fab seem basic, and want to budget for surprises. Can I get a bolt on solution for my 91' 80 at one or 2 vendors? Maybe someone knows a combo of two kits that would work? Appreciate any experience. Enjoy the weekend gents.

Last weekend I cut up a few bed frames and welded up an insert for the rear hatch. Going to cover in 1/2" plywood and carpet. I did this to move the spare tire from underneath and get a few extra storage area's along with a sleeping platform. I'll post some pics if I get some more work done this weekend if anyone is interested.

film or it’s fiction  Which is to say, yes please attach some photos!

I hope so. I guess I'll see Monday. I'm not hopeful I got the right one since all the pics I saw when I ordered were just the mast itself (I ordered number 8633660040).

I am not aware of the feature, what’s does that said antana thingofmajig do?

Thanks for all your help...

Spark plugs came in yesterday... any neuances/special instructions with the 1FZ-FE?
Last spark plug job I did was on a 5.4Triton... that was a pain.

Pretty straight foward. Watch for brittle boots and make they seal up nice. Hole #6 can be a bit of pain.

Use a wobble on your spark plug socket for number 6 watch the heater valve just dab of anti seize on um too

NICE!! So how is the sound while driving highway speeds? I guess what I mean to say is does it add a lot of noise? And where did you purchase it from? Thanks!
So my drive to pismo showed me that this rack did not add any more wind noise that I could tell. You can purchase the rack from www.bowfincruisers.com

Missed it! :bang:

I guess she’s officilly broken in now so I can hammer on the skinny pedal!
