Slight discoloration, photo makes it look worse. hatching seems good. How do you decide when to do rings and go deeper? no idea if it has blow by. Was a motor that was running strong that was pulled out to do a swap from what i was told.

The motor is already out and half apart, inspect everything.

Cut him some slack....@LS1FJ40 is probably still bummed out that the Home Depot beach volleyball team beat Lowe’s.

Coming from a state were no camp fire laws exist I like fire pan law a lot and enjoy traveling Anza Borrego. Almost every time Im in Anza Borrego I see LEO checking and looking for pans.

For AZ the most popular camp fire material is pallets mainly because they are easy to get, dont need a ring, and they are everywhere. Within a short time most of the evidence of a fire is gone EXPECT for the all the nails and staples used in the manufacturing of pallets. Nails and staples are hard to see and result in many flats.

For the record if you travel with me rarely do I ever have a fire anywhere.

Hey Phil, I have to get campfire permits in the Coronado NF. I had a group of students a few years back and got a healthy ticket is how I learned. The permit is free.

Try again. Look at the first picture!

Home Depot beats the pants off Lowes.

I’ve worked for both. Two different corporate philosophies. I don’t work for the orange store anymore for a reason.

By the end of the year we’ll be owned by Amazon...

Thanks Ross just another reason not to have campfires given you time to do the important things:grinpimp:

Successful Moab Trip

Huge thanks to @Nay for leading it all. Cruiser ran like a top.... until the end after over 1,000 miles of abuse on mountain passes, off-road trails, and desolate roads, the radiator fight I thought i finally won, gave up in the driveway :bang:.

Not even mad though was an amazing trip and every day driving the cruiser put a smile on my face. Cruiser kicks ass.

Spray painted the grille black and put on the Koito clear corners.
Next is the winch.

After all you've done, I'm pretty sure your truck will never see a trail..........
Wait wait wait... you can take these Offroad??? I bought mine to take on the Costco parking lot. I have all the armor to shove shopping carts and lethargic shoppers out of the way so I can park the closest to the entrance... which are mostly medians with a bush, rock and small trees. And that's why I armored the area under the truck. The lift provides more median options and a faster ability to leave the parking lot, I'm not a fan of waiting in lines and yielding.
I can put all the extra paper towels on the roof rack, and winch the pallets of oil I need to keep this rig alive.
...and dent pulling the shopping cart hits I get will retain the value and make it look purdy to impress the shopping goddesses that plague the isles.
