Finally got the cruiser crap console installed. Been staring at it sitting on the bench for several months. Sure wish this was still being manufactured. It’s really nice.

Not worth having a good looking winch that doesn't get the job done. Use the 10k on the Cruiser and put the 8274 on something smaller like a 40 series, or maybe bolt it on a car trailer.Mounted an ARB on the front of the Goat, now I am in the fits of deciding what to do with my winches...

I have been running an old Warn 8274, but when we/friends vehicles are fully loaded on a trip I have found the 8k rating to be a bit lacking. Got a Warn Zeon 10s for a price I couldn't refuse and am thinking that is a more appropriate winch for our weight, but doesn't look as good...oh the decisions!

Who made that bumper? Looks like a cross between an late arb 40 bumper and an early 60 arb.An option is to rebuild the 8274 with a stronger motor. Warn 8274 9.5 XP Motor upgrade - https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/warn-8274-9-5-xp-motor-upgrade.1108372/
Rebuilt this 1980s 8274 with the upgraded motor plus an Albright contator. Photo is before the contactor addition was wrapped up.

I don't mean to rag on a brand but it seems all I hear now is stories of BFG's falling apart.Installed new tires today… and problem I was with pulling fixed itself

5.3L Powered Truck Pulls To the Right When I Let Go Of The Accelerator and Left When I Accelerate
I’ve got one in my 60 and I’m doing the same in my 62. It’s been so boring that I don’t even give them a second thought. I bought a 5.3 thinking I had blown my 2F. Needless to say, I’m selling the 5.3 and the 2F is happy. False alarm. You should buy my vortec powered truckforum.ih8mud.com
Speaking of new tires, BFG offered to give me a 50% refund on the new tires…. Old tires a little over 6 years but had around 6k miles & 2 blowouts (starting on post 13470). At first they responded that it was ozone (weather) cracks but after sending them pictures of old tires with no cracks they responded saying that on occasion they offer “goodwill” to their customers, they had me take truck to an authorized dealer who would inspect and call BFG with their observation. Took it to Discount Tires…

Wow! Looks great! I'm also envious of your seats. I've never seen two in the back also, but they look GREAT!Finally finished installing @dnp carpet. I put a space heater in the truck over the Holidays in order to work on it in single digit weather. Really happy how it turned out. Now working on changing out the door cards.

You've gotta do it, or pay later.
Performed micro surgery…oh, the things we’ll do.
So worth it, not just for the truck, but the operating room too.Performed micro surgery…oh, the things we’ll do.
Ok, what are you working on? I feel like I should be able to figure this out, but it's not quite comin to me...
