Finished fabricating a 2" spacer for the LSPV on my '86 FJ60 project vehicle. It has the axles and braking system from the '89 FJ62 donor vehicle and an OME suspension. I know it's overkill but the machine shop I went to to check for cheap scrap material only had this heavy wall square tube, $5 for a 15"-long section. I can use the leftover length for fabricating anything that'll go in a 2" receiver hitch. I'll use 60mm long JIS M8X1.25 flange bolts I ordered online - they'll be here tomorrow.
Replaced the o-ring on the IAC valve. I took it apart during a chase for the source of a high-idle issue. It looked flat so a new one was in order:

Met up with the aforementioned @NMfjCruiser and his pig buddy, Mark to form the pig sandwich. Great breakfast followed by even better parking lot banter. Loved Mark's mb tex Mercedes seats in his 55. So very nice. That material is the best seat material ever and @NMfjCruiser let me take his Saginaw conversioned 60 for a spin.
It's more smooth and has a stronger feel than my standard power steering. Looking even more forward to the upgrade than before.
We talked about frame extensions for the front bumper so that a winch could fit without a heavy bumper. Are they out there for 60s?
I bought a set years ago for my '40. The fit was fine, and they were made from quality material. HOWEVER, there was some weld spatter on them, and whatever they used to finish them (paint?) Baked off the first time I ran the truck and I was left with raw metal that subsequently rusted.
Removed and mounted my tire off a beadlock. In the process I managed to light my rim on fire and throw my back out while simultaneously stepping on my last can of dip. Flippin 37s...

I installed rear shoulder belts, sound deadener, and cleaned the headliner. I can’t believe how much dirt came out, and how much cleaner and brighter it is!
I little hint on the top anchor bolt plate. I tried a wire to fish it up, but it took a long time, and the wire and washer that I used to pull the plate up was difficult to get back out.
So on the other side, I used a spare dipstick pushed down from the top. Tied a wire to the washer, ran it through the bolt plate, and wired it to the dipstick. Dipstick had little holes in it for the wire, but you can always drill one in it. Went down super straight, and Pulled up real easy, and the follow wire pulled the washer right back out. I used epoxy on the first side. Messy. On the other, I used strip caulk. Held nicely. Turned a 30 minute frustration into 3 minutes easy
^^^^ ah haha! It was me! Good for you!
Btw my stock pot lid handle got vibrated right off so be aware if it starts to get excessively noisy that’s probably what’s beginning to happen.
