That area of Colorado looks a lot like the Eastern Sierras in Ca.

These really need anti seize applied whenever pulling the cap the oil mess is from pulling the filter for access , when I attempted to remove the broken bolts with the dist. Still in

I figured the engine stand is just as good a place as any to install the split transfer case. Soon the combined unit will be installed behind the 3FE, which is already in the '86 FJ60 project vehicle.
And another one from Vandenburg Airforce Base. I post it only because there are so many videos out there of people going up a mild hill on a dirt road and they think that is "serious off road driving". An FJ60 seems to make roads like this to be child's play.
We saw you there. Did not realize that was you. We (me and my boys) were in a dark blue 60 and pulled out on Saturday. Had spent the previous 4 days up at Slide Lake. Was overwhelmed by the # of folks on the trails and at the trail head when we came out. I've never seen that many people in the 20+ years I've been going to the Winds.View attachment 1516191 Cleaned her up, loaded up, and depart in the morning. Got a call from the Pindale Ranger District of Bridger Teton National Forest. Green River Lakes campground had the campground host leave for the rest of season due to an emergency. They asked if I could do it for the next 10 days or so and maybe the rest of the season. I get the camp host site, the only one with connection to drinking water. I'm going to be right under centerline for the eclipse. Wind River Mountains, here I come again! Feeling lucky!
