Finally mounted the switch panel for the Vintage Air heater. I don't particularly like this panel, don't even need one of the knobs on it because I decided not to use their electric water valve (I have a perfectly good manual valve that I never close anyway). I found a spot for it that used the bolt that holds the gauge cluster on, so I can go back to stock if I need to.
This thing puts out a lot of air, certainly more than my original fan did. But, it has only two outlets for the defroster. My Pig has 3 defrost vents. We'll have to see which vents I need hook up for best results

Then I ran some speaker wire. Used to be that one could run the speaker wire along the floor and just throw the carpet over it. I don't have carpet no more, probably not going to get any soon. And the radio is in the center console. So I ran the wires up the door pillars, forward over the front doors and down the A pillars and into the front doors. Also ran the power wire and antenna lead down the passenger side door pillar, under the seats to the radio.

I worked half a day on building a mount for twin sticks addition to my pig. PO thought cables could engange/disengange the tcase. It’s turned out to be a pain and requiring removal of the top tcase cover and nose actuator for 4wd. Not much room to do this on a running pig.

No pics though. Maybe tomorrow.

After a bit of messing around with wiring (loose fuse), the plate light shines again after at least 25 years. Replaced the whole assembly with a new one from SOR as the original was rusted out and smashed from someone backing into something.

Nice. That one is still available from Toyota btw. At least it was the last time I checked.

Worked on it for the first time in almost 3 years 😳. Clutch pedal was dead, so replaced the master and the slave cylinders. Then replaced the fuel feed and return soft lines and fuel filter. Getting ready to reinstall the Carb I overhauled many moons ago. Hopefully get it running again.

Dove into the rear window again, still binding and stopping about half way down. Any advice for pulling these pins without breaking them to separate the motor and glass rail?

After the WD40 if they are still tough by hand you can place a large screwdriver on the tab and tap lightly with a hammer

It is nice that there are (was?) three different options.

Somewhere in here are some pics of @FJBen guiding me through The Chutes in my topless 40.
IIRC he took his Pig through next.

Well never mind the photos were taken on a potato almost 20 years ago 😳 photo bucket shenanigans 😬 I found them.
