I have a 5 speed manual 3F FJ62,
It has recently started - when I clutch in between 4th and 5th I get bad vibrations, feels like I am hitting ruts at 60mph. It also happens when I am de-accelerating from around 70mph. It only happens at these times, and it goes away when the engine torques again.
Any ideas would be a great help.

Also battery light wont go off even with fully charged battery.

Sounds like your driveline is out of balance, either that or you have a u-joint about to let loose! Unless you knocked a balancing weight off its probably the joint-when was last u-joint service?

Maybe have the battery load tested.

I would have to agree with hicruise55. It sounds like a bad u joint.

Pinion bearing could be getting loose too.

Had similar problem at about 60 mph. Bolts on the drive shaft connecting to the third member had come lose.

Have you tested the amps coming out of the Alternator? That is what it was for me.
