Can hell be any worse than that song?

I'm gonna give you your life back here - just stop searching now. You're not gonna find it. No such thing exists.

I was gonna tell you that the only good Dylan is one done by somebody else, but listening to that vid you posted has me wondering if it could be any worse.

Actually, I'm wrong. You said "recording". I think the audio production quality of that vid was excellent.

ouch :)

Only the finest 3 string spade shovel solo ive ever seen :grinpimp: Justin Johnson

or, if 3 strings is too many for you....

and the cigar box solo at devils tower isnt bad either

I remember seeing an awards show several years ago and Bob Dylan sang. The show was closed captioned. Whoever was doing the captioning couldn't understand a thing he was singing (neither could I) so the caption read,"Words...words....words....words...words....words." Funny stuff.

Jack White's Neil Youngish guitar solos are always interesting to listen to. They are so all over the place. I prefer White over Young, actually. A Southern man don't need Neil around anyhow.

Second night of Greensky Bluegrass in Charleston last week, they encored with a Bruce Springsteen song I'd completely forgotten about. In fact, I really only knew The Band version. But man, what a great tune: Atlantic City

One of my favorite Bruce songs, great album too - thanks for the above.

Incredible live shows back in the day:

Revelation moment for JV. I miss old school FM radio. I'm finding that I'm more likely to enjoy a band if I know absolutely nothing about them before hearing them the first time. Or any time after. That goes for their picture, politics and (sadly for my career) their rider and management.

That said, to keep this post appropriate for its location, I have no clue what's being played on Spotify upstairs while I paint in the basement...but it's pretty good.

I object!

Old Henry.

I used to have a CD wallet full of Black Flag and Hank spoken words that I lost. I have about half a dozen on CD now. Kind of soured on him in the last 15 or so years. I finally got to see him at a Warped Tour in 2001 and it was a weak 30 minute set of the new album with some nonames backing. No Melvin Gibbs :(

I have a fascination with Modest Mouse's old stuff. Here's a great one for road tripping.

Dave needs to get outside of his cubicle for a while. Such angst, youd think he worked for the ......................................... ROFL.

Hey, I threw "Mr. Curry Is A Cop" in there to lighten the mood! It's a hilarious song and makes me smile. Such a catchy tune too.
