Looks awful big and heavy, I prefer bumper designs that flow with the body design a little more myself.

Aww...come on, with a 50 mm gun turret and some Catapillar treads......:skull:

I think I have seen that on a Brink's Amoured Truck that was in front of Wal Mart one day! Really I think that would make you add suspension work to handle the load and could effect the driving habits at speed. At lower speed the only issue could be plowing into an oncoming rise in front. Seems big but I am sure that was their point, its definately Body Armour !

Looks awful bid and heavy, I have the ARB on mine and it is heavy this thing looks like it could be twice the weight. Looks like it would have a negative affect on your approach angle. Hey but if you like it I would say "go for it"!!!!!!

Approach angle? who needs that the bumper just knocks everything down so you roll right over it.

At first I felt the same. It's bulky and looks too much like an armored truck.

But, after seeing and actually carrying the bumper it's not heavy at all. They claim it's less than 100 lbs. It's completely aluminum.

What about sliders?

Thanks for the input!

I have the FabFours front bumper with brush guard and I am very happy with it. It is just as solid as the ARB but with a more attractive design. I think so anyhow. I don't like that bumper at all. I think it is pretty ugly and doesn't work with the
FJ's lines. I like the look of the Road Armor bumper too. As for sliders, it depends if you want them to stick out far enough to be used as a step. If that is the case, I recommend Budbuilt. Actually, he has a low profile version too that doesn't stick out very far. I also recommend Budbuilt for your skid plates. I have the full skids and the rockrails and I'm very happy.
