Well I got a retrofit with the bling headlights!

I was shooting for a big retrofit at first but size restrictions were a pain! I wanted it to still look close to normal but i wanted bi-xenon. I wasn't budging then patience paid off. Some mini h1 bi-xenons were used and they fit in the housing without any extreme modifications and you still are able to use the adjustments that came with the lights which is nice.

Here is the retrofit.

I paid for someone to do it. I think it is the answer to the problem of retrofitting those things. I will post pics when i get them back in the mail.

I've been thinking about the BiXenon HIDs too. My only concern is the durability of the shroud off road. Any thoughts?

The headlights were basically free because i useded my ebay bucks for them. For the labor, and the projector it was 500 because it was a experiment that i didn't mind financing. I'm glad the answer was found so it will be cheaper to do it now. I have emailed him and he will be willing to do a group deal.

To answer all my PMs at once the genius behind it all is named Rich. He is from hid illusionz. He was able to do a my friend's solara nicely and cleanly and it is tight to work with that headlight. I knew he could cook up something. Below is my friend's solara which he did and it was a first for any Solara.

He is good at what he does and he does what no other retrofitter will even attempt to do.

Sorry it took me a while to get to the installation. The cut off was taken in the daytime. It is worth every penny. I put an led strip cause i was experimenting and it turned out to be baddass to me and it turned a lot of heads. I am using 55watt hids and they are very bright so that explains how i can get a cutoff pic in daylight. I will post more pics tommorrow.

The top pic is the only night shot. The rest of them are in the daytime including the cut off. I will get some highbeam shots and a night time cut off shot and some more night time shots. I will post shots throughout the day too i guess.

any specs on the mini projectors? I was looking at the link below and wondering if they might be easier to get into the sonar housings with less cutting
