Wow - sorry to hear about that!

We were in the East Mountains watching the news about wind gusts to 70 mph in Abq, and we barely had a breeze at the time.

From the video, it looks like the tree was all the way across the street from your place. Luckily, no one was driving by at the time.

What’s the broken part on the truck? Not sure what I am looking at there.

I don't know how my trampoline survived the night in Rio Rancho, was pleasantly surprised to see it still in the yard this morning.

Wow. It was breezy up here, but no big gusts. That sucks about your Suburban. Will the guys homeowners insurance cover that?

Looks like your 4runner did ok. How did it run at higher elevations?

Tree fell from the park so gotta call the city to see what they’ll do
4Runner did super as always. Drug that windfall off the road and I think at that point the left upper trunion bearing started to fail. By the time we were back at the tow rig it was way out of camber. Looking for parts now, maybe hiking for the rest of my vacation instead of going to Farmington
More pics of my sad favorite beater. Scout’s gonna be so bummed

Bummer...What year is it? Looks like it could still beat around with a little hammer work and some plexi;)

I’m sorta thinking a bulkhead behind center seat with plexi window and cut the top half of rear doors off... Then watch for a set of tons and 37’s
It’s such a great truck with a great soul I really hate to scrap it. My neighbor’s gonna love me

Holy cow!

I'll be surprised if the city covers it. Once it's on your property, usually your problem. I hope I'm wrong, though.

Did you break the pin off the steering arm in the bearing?
I’m hopeful, the city forester left his card and when I emailed him he volunteered that he had images of the tree and damage to the truck prior to their clean up.
Steering arm and pin are ok, bearing is blown apart. I loaded it pretty heavy pulling that tree over... my little voice said “use the winch” but I hit the ARB and the gas 😕

It’s got that nice breezy free flow feel to it now, perfect for these September afternoons. Scout digs it
