2 year old GE front load washer out of warranty. It wont drain completely We have to rinse multiple times. I ran the drain hose into bucket and it runs, but not very much. I also checked the house plumbing, no clogs there. Also the drain hose is clean. Is there some kind of filter internally?

It is extremely important that you do not use too much soap.Second, there is a selonoid in back that drains the machine, check that first, more than likely its gone out. Very rarely the front controls.

Figured it out. I pulled the front panel. There is a drain sump underneath with a 3inch plug. Pulled the plug and it acts like a screen or seperator. $5.00 or so of change, hairclip, bottle cap, 2 kid socks, and a spent 4-10 shell. All is well.

Unclog your diverter valve.

Bucket out as much water as possible, tip it back and look underneath around the pump. They are usually just quick clamped on. It's no big deal, just pull it off and clean out the fuzz or gunk/.

My family owns restaurants The mop head strings getting stuck in the diverter valve is what is usually the problem. I'd bet a 6 pack, your diverter is gunked up.

Can I get in on that bet? Seeing as how he already fixed it... :D
