A couple of weekends ago my wife and I got the opportunity to check out a Warthog trailer. It was custom made by the owner, Christoff Botha who lives in Northern VA. Christoff is in the process of trying to get a company off the ground making custom trailers.

The first thing I noticed was that the trailer was totally enclosed and the compartment doors are lockable. The cooler and cooktop are on slides so there was easy access. It has I believe a 28 gal water tank with a spray nozzle. Every compartment was built around what items he was storing in it. I can't remember what weight axle is under it but it has brakes and the same bolt pattern and wheels as his 80.

We hooked it up to my 40 and we got to take it out for a spin. It handled nice going down roads and we went to an area where we got to do some mild offroading. I was suprised at how well it handled and how it was a lot easier to backup than my m-416

I have a '67 m-416 that I have modified which is pulled behind my '71 with the original F engine. Roof top tent on a modified Confer roof rack and all my gear is stored in action packers. After seeing the Warthog trailer, I can see some modifications to mine for easier access are needed.

Here's some pics of the trailer

That's pretty cool. Supposing you had an extensive camp setup already the trailer could be designed to haul your specific containers, stove, cooler/fridge, etc. That's a great idea.
