I was playing with it tonight and it seems like the line speed is really fast compared to Randy's and Kina's. It is the older style with the motor on the top. Does anybody have one or used one?

Gary - I think we used a snatch block on the pulls that day which slows the line speed down a lot. Maybe that's why yours seems faster? When you were testing your 8274-50, was the line under heavy load or light? I've found that the line speed varies quite a bit depending upon the load. That said, my winch might be tired and slower than normal. Next time out we should test them side by side to compare.
That is the one I have and it is a fast line speed. I have used it a bunch. Also has a lot of cable.
