As the above title says, i need a set of door weatherstripping, the rubber
piece that goes horizontally across the top of each door were the glass goes
down inside it. Most 60 series have a a stainless piece that goes across the
door here in the states.

Mot if you are out there would you mind checking your source and see if they
are obtainable? Thanks very much

If I'm right you mean the window weatherstrip... I have both a rusted Canadian spec 1987 HJ60 in my driveway and a U.S. spec 1987 FJ60 (oddly enough I bought it in Portland). The 2H is getting rebuilt, turbo'd and installed in the FJ60 along with my 5spd.

Anyway, they both appear to have the same weatherstrip on the windows - crome surround with a rubber seal insert/felt. I can't see a difference between the two, so the part that you're after should be available in the U.S.

Try SOR's door page, although some of the parts are not available new anymore, you might be able to find one used. Just be careful what they send, I bought a set of Aussie rear sliding windows off them and they arrived with the window felt torn, weathered and cracked... I guess the Australian heat takes its toll.

I guess i should have made myself more clearer. I want the weatherstrip
without the chrome piece. and most non USA HJ60,HJ61's had them, like
the ones sent to Australia, I guess those are called the base rigs not the
fancy chromy ones sent to America...
