VSC Trac Check engine light

Just returned from a trip to Sequoia Natl Park. Never needed to engage 4wd.
Stopped for a soda and noticed that my VSC Off and VSC Trac and check engine light have now stayed on. I started and stopped the engine, I've put it in low range and engaged the center locking diff, still those lights will not go away. This is the first issue Ever with my 2001 4runner LTD at 105,000mi. The manual says take to Toyota dealer...I Hate my local Toyota dealer! Would appreciate any input, thanks!

It is quite common for the VSC lights to come on when the CEL is triggered. You should be able to take it to any capable shop that can run a diagnostics check on it.

The fuel ratio sensor needed replacing. Took it to a reputable independent shop, all is well. Thanks!
