Im trying to make sure i have my facts straight with these two Tcases, specifically:
VF1A from an 88 v6 manual pickup(88-95/89-95 4runner)
VF2A from and FJ Cruiser Auto(All auto FJs and Trail/TRD 5th gen 4Rs)
both are top shift(2A is slightly different?)
both have 23 spline inputs
with that said, i currently have a v8 4R with the 2A(FJ) case, but the r150F i got came with a 1A attached. I plan on leaving the 2A in there so I dont have to pull it out, and bolting the r150 straight to it.
do yall think ill be fine? if not, the 1A should swap into where the 2A was?(everything ive read online says theyre the same in output)would it be as good as the 2A?
