No clue what your plans are but we had one of these through the shop last year with an 80 drivetrain and no E-brake, we switched the rear backing plates to the parking brake version and used a 70 series cable and it worked out very well as an almost bolt-on E-brake upgrade. Just had to weld some simple tabs for the cable.

This one is on the Tcase. I’m getting a Ebrake kit for a later case shipped out from Georg and hopefully it will just be bolt on. I thought this whole time they would be on the axle like a 60

Yeah, all 43/45 are on transfer for whatever great reason Toyota decided.

They actually came to the party at the end of production of 45's (later '84 and '85 models here in Africa) with the parking/emergency brake on the rear axle instead of on the transfer. It is fun finding parts for that cable to rather easier parts wise to have a transfer mounted unit.

Got the front in with 4* caster shims. Sitting very pretty. I did not measure the before but you can see the difference.

My dad got stuck so I had to take the big tractor down and fish him out.

Ben won’t let me get tires yet. He’s holding out for 285/75-16 KO3s much to my displeasure. 😅

What’s on there now? Are those oem split rims? Just oem steelies?

What’re the options again?!
OEM split rims.

Your 16” wheels are here. Have been for months. Just waiting on the KO3 to release.

I’m just a Yokohama homer that’s all. You can make me kick dirt.

I'm blocking myself from this thread. A troopy would be the ultimate fishing rig, hardtop though.

If I keep an eye on an awesome build like this I might be trying to spend money on things I shouldn't.

No financial reason you can’t have a trout bum troopy..🍿
